Life at Outpost 12 is untamed and has an air of serendipity. Here the jungle decides what it wants to unveil. Every day walks a different thrum. Our task was to help a team of naturalists design and bring to life a forest-first, all nature safari experience. The mandate stretched right from strategic conceptualisation to positioning, branding, research & experience design, interior design, identity & narrative, content, website development and strategic marketing. Between field trips and staying inspired by the founding trio, we got to experience a Kanha inside out.

Forest first.
All natural.

To us it seemed to be a wildlife outpost at the ringside of the wild and beautiful Kanha. And this sighting stayed with us. The experience and brand was created around a vision of being forest first, community centred and authentically Kanha. Not just around the Royal Bengal Tiger but inspired by the endangered Barasingha. This would not be a resort but a jungle outpost that seasoned naturalists, bred in the jungle, would cherish enough to make their home in Kanha and share this experience with fellow nature lovers. Not just any home, but one that can be rightfully be the quarters of the true keepers of the jungle. It had to be special. And it is.
