Every place has a local story. Local communities, attractions, culture, business & capabilities, talent, aspirations. The job of place branding is to help surface these very qualities, to grow civic pride and soft power. The Romans called these qualities the “genius loci”. We call it the local DNA of the place. That’s where we start.
Strategy for us at Lokall is participative and evidence based. We research and understand several dimensions of your place brand including goals, stakeholder expectations, aspirations, place & opportunity fit. All of this while assimilating relevant data, views and insights.
Our outcome-objective at this stage, is to help you position your place brand and build the key themes & narratives that resonate with various stakeholders. We ideate and design a distinctive place identity & its expressions, all of course with a sense of place. The idea must be so compelling that stakeholders would want to be part of its very achievement.
